I use this card to store images in JPEG format, and I bought it to extend the capacity of my system. No hassle to set up, good performance. I've been a loyal Sandisk user for 23 years and have never been disappointed. As for LDLC (which I've also been using for a very long time), they always offer attractive prices and reliable delivery.

Good Points: For what its designed for, it is a great device. I needed it as I wanted a Solid Drive for an old Atari Computer and while I am currently using an mSata, I wanted to use CF Cards again instead as I felt they seemed to be more reliable. Personal choice I suppose? Improvement Points: Lower the prices. CF Cards are shamefully expensive for what is now, old Tech.

I never face this issue with the Amazon but this is so disappointing to me I recently brought this camera ( canon 7D ) and I’m already using the cf card for this which is 16GB I just brought this sand disk from “AMAZON” and which destroyed my whole camera slot and cost me around 150$ I’m not really happy and lost trust on the products

Read speed on a AMD Ryzen 7 1700X Eight-Core Processor - 3.40 GHz while copying to a M.2 Samsung 960 EVO which has a write speed of 1,800 MB/Sec this SanDisk Extreme 64GB managed only a speed of 80 MB/Sec. This is well short of the advertised speed of 120 MB/Sec.
