La Dr. Martens 1460 Serena est une botte d'hiver doublée avec une semelle souple et un intérieur chaud. Le cuir est souple et de nombreux utilisateurs trouvent cette botte confortable sans période de rodage. Cependant, l'absence de demi-pointures rend difficile la recherche de la bonne taille. La tige est rigide et peut causer des douleurs sur le dessus du pied. La voûte reçoit un soutien insuffisant. Convient pour un usage hivernal quotidien, mais non idéale pour un port intensif.
