I gave this as a gift. Because another reviewer mentioned you had to hold down the On/Off button while mixing because otherwise it would stop, I had to try the mixer. This is not the case. It is true when the beaters aren’t in, but when the beaters are attached the mixer works without pressing the on/off switch. It appears to be a nice hand mixer. Quiet, light and easy to use.

The best hand mixer in the current market for a baker. It’s designed exceptionally well, is powerful and is very well built. Love using it, have been using it for over a year and am still very impressed by it.

The Braun HM5100 Multi-Mix Hand Mixer is a great appliance to have in any kitchen. This set includes the mixer, two sets of attachments and a storage bag for the attachments. The mixer is easy to set up and easy to clean. The base of the attachments are shaped differently so you can guide the attachments into the mixer slots properly. The cord has flexible positions at the mixer base, which allows use to be less rigid. The cord can be positioned so the mixer sits upright. The mixer is easy to grip and comfortable to hold. The mixer has a lot of power and it appears to mix quicker than a hand mixer we have been using. I am pleased with its quality and performance and glad to have this in our kitchen.
