Having auditioned several speaker brands, including KEF, B&W, DefTech, when I finally heard these speakers, I knew they were the ones to buy. Canton is big seller in Europe but are not well-known here. Built in Germany, Canton has several lines of speakers which are highly regarded. Very tight bass, detailed mids, and airy highs, these speakers sound great with all types of music. They throw out an incredible soundstage and are clear, crisp, with excellent detail and imaging without sounding harsh or fatiguing. A very musical and accurate speaker. I know there are better speakers out there but I will be happy with these speakers for years to come. Don't take my word for it, try to audition these or read the excellent review in Sound & Vision(2009).
