Transcend DrivePro Suction Mount

After a fair bit of research I decided on this for two reasons: Resolution of the image and the wide-angled lens. The device has been very simple to setup and use and the images are faultless. I also purchased a bigger card to allow more storage. Nothing significant comes to mind, worthwhile to have in the car in case something unfortunate should ever happen. If I were to need a replacement, I'd purchase the same again.

The 3M tape provided does NOT stick to my car windscreen. I tried the tape that already comes stuck product and it fell off! Then I tried the extra tape they give you and the camera still fell off after 5 minutes! I’m really not happy, especially as everything else about the camera looks pretty good to me (picture quality, ease of use, etc)

Make sure that you position this in the correct place before attaching to the windscreen because once it is stuck there it cannot be moved. Stores files in 3 minute segments which helps for finding pictures if you are searching for anything. Reassuring to have, especially when motorway driving, to know that there is some back-up evidence if ever needed.

The dash cam stops intermittently. Many times the cam looks to be on but does not record. Difficult to know when its recording. Not happy with the quality, ideally would like to return.
