Unbeatable protection for the Zeiss 24-70 f2.8 and 16-35 f2.8 lenses. Why would you put anything of lesser quality on such specialist professional lenses?

Normally I never use protective filters, just one more glass surface to degrade images. Lens shades serve good protection. The reason for this filter, protection from blowing sand. The filter is well made and can rate as good as any I have used. When you spend on glass, don't want a cheap filter degrading the overall image quality. Can recommend .... when applicable.

I leave this on all the time to protect my lens, however the packaging could be better! as Sony sends it out clipped into the plastic packaging and the case is in a separate plastic box. It would be better if the filter was in the box in the first place, as my filter had small amounts of dust on it. I would however buy it again, although I think the B+W filters have better reviews? I bought this filter as it has the T* coating.

Mounted it right away on my lens. retains pucture quality and found no difference in image with or without the filter. although this filter has a dedicated filter case but it was packed in a molded plastic packaging and I had difficulty getting it unstuck from it. overall I am very happy with the product and recommend to my friends and followers.

A high quality protector in a reasonable price. Did not compare it with products from other brands such as B+W and Hoya (simply because I don't have). However, this one came with Zeiss T* logo so I believed the coating should be 'trustable'. I used it on my Sony 70-200 G lens and the image quality is still excellent when using this filter. This is a must have item for protecting your expensive lens.
