This unit works for both my 501 and 502 Manfrotto Video Heads. Also works great as a componet of my Modified Control Handles that can go as long as 4' to 6'+ so My Camera can be up to 8' in the air, while I sit comfortably in my chair using a 19" to 27" Monitor and Wired Remote to do the Videography. Or, using two handles for better control if sitting or standing at normal Height.

If I hadn't lost mine, I wouldn't have had to replace it with a new one. My old one held up well. Of course it has had it's paint worn off over time but it was still mechanically solid.

The screw that holds the arm to the head was a size too small. And the teeth were not the right size. Really disappointed.

I got this head because I shoot video for weddings and corporate events on a regular basis. The tension adjustments for the tilt and pan are so smooth! It works great on my slider too. Best head I've ever had!
