Canon EW-73D Pare-Soleil

This lens hood was suggested to me to use with the Canon RF 24-105mm F4 - 7.1 IS STM lens. It fits perfectly and it does the job.

The product is quite sturdy in the hand, when fitting it to your lens it gives a nice solid click indicating it's properly attached. The lens hood is way overpriced for what it is, I'm sure you are just paying for the brand name.

Having purchased a new lens minus hood i went to the Canon store to purchase a hood for the lens.The first one I purchased didn’t fit so I returned and bought the correct one for the lens.The whole process went like clockwork,hence a satisfied customer. Well done Canon

Good Points: Fits the 24-105 lens plus, it fits in reverse when not being used. To remove it you have a button to press to enable that so it’s a good locking feature. Improvement Points: Rather a lot of money for what it is! It’s not an improvement point but it makes people look at cheaper alternatives.

I try to avoid overpriced Canon accessories, but this lens hood is specific to the lens and came at a good discount to the full price.
