Has all the functions of the mid range DSLR + the panorama ability, although a bit unreliable in the pan function 1 out of 4 or 5 tries on panorama didn't take. Documentation and menu choices are a small problem in that there are some functions not very intuitive and the online (downloaded) user manual is somewhat confusing. Pics however are great! they are tack sharp and focus is easy and colors very accurate. Takes wonderful pics to rival my Nikon d 5500! The only reason for the 4 instead if 5 is the menu system and documation

Camera has sharp imaging.pdf manual is virtually impossible. My lightroom 5 refuses to recognize the Sony ARW(raw) file. Viewfinder is tiny.

I purchased this camera to take indoor pictures in low light and it does a very good job. The trade off was giving up much telephoto, but I knew this when I made the purchase.
