L'Olympus OM-5 Mark II Body Silver est un appareil photo hybride compact, léger et résistant, qui se distingue par sa facilité d'utilisation et sa stabilisation. Il offre de belles couleurs, des images nettes et de nombreuses options créatives comme les filtres artistiques et la photographie computationnelle. Les inconvénients sont des performances limitées en basse lumière, l'absence d'autofocus avancé pour les animaux et un seul slot SD. Le capteur et l'écran n'ont pas été renouvelés par rapport au modèle précédent. Pour ceux qui recherchent un appareil portable et polyvalent, c'est un excellent choix.

Still familiarising myself with the camera but my initial feelings are that it is a high quality piece of kit. Having owned the Olympus OM-D-E mark iii being able to easily find options and settings with the new menus is wonderful and doubtless, as I have already done, I will find options that I didn't know existed on the earlier camera. Glad that I made the trade in!!

Very compact and lightweight. (People with big hands may struggle.) Gives excellent results and is easy to use once you have navigated the many menus. Two minor downsides it’s very easy to catch the arrow pad whilst using the camera and the cover for the USB socket is quite flimsy.

The OM-5 Mark II is one of the most affordable mirrorless cameras you can get with full IP53 weather protection, but lags behind entry-level alternatives when it comes to imaging prowess.
