Le Nikon Coolpix P950 est un appareil bridge doté d’un capteur CMOS de 16 mégapixels au format 1/2,3 pouce. Son objectif fixe propose un zoom optique 83x avec une plage équivalente 24–2000mm. L’appareil pèse environ 1005 grammes batterie et carte incluses et mesure près de 140 x 110 x 150 mm. La définition maximale des photos est de 4608 x 3456 pixels. Un écran arrière orientable de 3,2 pouces sert à la visualisation et aux réglages. L’appareil prend également en charge l’enregistrement vidéo 4K.

Après des semaines à choisir un appareil, me décider et trouver le bon prix... Quelle déception ! Il faut absolument un pied car le stabilisateur d'image est insuffisant donc dès qu'on utilise le zoom c'est flou. Idem pour la qualité des couleurs, très décevante. Au final j'ai revendu l'appareil car mon téléphone fait de meilleures photos et il se glisse dans la poche !

I bought this camera 4 months ago. I'm happy and frustrated at the same time. Long distance photography is great as long as we have daytime. The autofocus is frustrating very sluggish. The camera has the potential to be great, but needs a better autofocus and a bigger sensor.

I am very happy with the P950. I have other cameras with larger sensors, but if you like nature photography, as I do, there is nothing as good as the Nikon P950. You can handhold at 2000mm and get a great shot. The photos I am attaching are at max zoom, and I needed that. The image stabilization is just great. Like any camera purchase -- know what you want to do, know what the camera can do, then make you decision based on best fit for your needs and price for your budget.
