Fujifilm X-T4 Boitier Noir

The mirrorless X-T4 camera is another solidly built, solid performing offering from Fujifilm, for when you want an interchangeable lens APS-C sensor mirrorless camera that can punch above its weight and compete with a mid-range APS-C DSLR, but without giving you back or shoulder ache. It’s reliable when it comes to subject accuracy and delivers some stunning images. What’s not to like? Liked this?

The Fujifilm X-T4 is good for travel photography. It delivers very good image quality overall, and Fuji's X mount features a wide range of portable lens options. Though the body is on the heavier side, it's still relatively portable, and it's very well-built, with a robust weather-sealed build. It also has a great battery life for a mirrorless model. That said, its autofocus tracking isn't the most consistent, especially in busier settings. Its ergonomics can take some getting used to as well.

After a few years with the XT30, and just after the announcement of the XT5, I upgraded to the XT4. The reason for my upgrade was that I loved the image quality and look of the XT30's images, but based on my hit rate (and the slower effective speed of crop format sensors per FL), I needed IBIS. Dear all More than three years ago, I joined Fujiland with the X-T20, my cute little camera . It was one of the best purchase decisions I ever made in my life, since it brought back the joy in photography for me :) Thanks to my friends who recommended me Fujifilm. I was very active more than 30 years ago when I had a Pentax ME that I had bought (sic!) used from my father who upgraded to the Super A. In August 2021, I pulled the trigger. I wanted to have IBIS so badly..... So I went for the X-T4.

From shooting with Nikon SLR film cameras in the seventies to the present, the X-T4 meets and surpasses any experience I've had. It offers great body controls, an excellent sensor, complementary hybrid video/photography, great OIS and weather sealing. I'm also an ardent fan of the "flippy screen" for greatest versatility.
