Canon EOS 850D + 18-55 mm f/4-5.6 IS STM

The Canon EOS 850D takes crisp photos. It is great value for money.

Most modern mid range cameras are no longer DSLR's as the prism and mirror have been removed. You lose the eye level view finder which is replaced by the screen on the rear. I'm old school I like putting the camera up to my eye to view what I'm about to capture. This is a great camera, easy to use, yet powerful enough for most jobs, will handle HD movies and lots, lots more. A great camera at the price.

Good replacement for my old EOS, and so far is working perfectly. Seems lighter, and is very much higher resolution. It will take a while to get to use it fully (the manual is 775 pages once downloaded!)

The 850D with 18 - 135 mm lens is a serious camera. It takes time to understand the touch sensitive screen. Use the optical viewfinder or live view options
