La GoPro HERO 12 Black est souvent considérée comme l’une des meilleures action‑cams grâce à sa vidéo 5.3K très détaillée, sa stabilisation HyperSmooth 6.0 efficace et son boîtier robuste et étanche. L’ajout de la vidéo HDR et du log 10 bits la rend intéressante pour les utilisateurs avancés qui veulent plus de liberté en étalonnage. L’autonomie est nettement meilleure que sur les anciens modèles, même s’il reste prudent d’emporter des batteries de rechange. De nombreux tests soulignent toutefois que la qualité d’image en basse lumière est clairement inférieure à certains rivaux et que la caméra peut chauffer ou s’arrêter lors de longues prises exigeantes. L’absence de suivi GPS et les menus assez profonds sont aussi à prendre en compte. Pour ceux qui filment surtout en bonne lumière et recherchent une stabilisation et un niveau de détail maximum, c’est néanmoins un très bon choix.

Very good picture and video quality, however, it sometimes overheats when doing long video shoots. Handy to have 2 extra batteries if you intend to use the device for more than 4 hours and it would be advisable to keep the device away from prolonged sun exposure. Overall,the outcome of the pictures and video capture great shots. Still happy with buying the device, just have to understand using the device depending on the environment it is exposed to.

Great action camera. I upgraded from a Go pro 8 as I couldn't get replacement batteries for it. Very happy with the video quality and photos are good too.
