This is a really good filter maker. I have been using it daily for over 3 years now and still works perfectly. Good strength control and durable. Not the cheapest but worth the price as a big improvement on budget machines.

Unfortunately this Melitta cofffee machine does not keep my coffee hot at all - which was the whole purpose of buying a thermos. In addition it leaks. I only started using this machine a few weeks ago but was not allowed to return it due to it being over the refund period. Very disappointed.

I have just ordered a replacement jug for our coffee machine. The jug glass lining exploded when I simply rinsed it with tepid water. I have to say that is the SECOND time this has happened! The first time we were still under guarantee so Amazon very efficiently replaced the whole machine free of charge. This time no guaranty left so the replacement jug is costing me 2/3rd of the price of a new machine. I still think it is worth it as this is definitely the best coffee maker we have ever had. I'll just have to remember to NEVER EVER attempt to clean or sinse the inside of the jug, silly me!

It does the job but we find that the carafe is smaller than a standard filter coffee machine. We enjoy a mug of coffee in the morning and we can only get a total of three mugs out of one brew. The coffee we get maintains its temperature nicely. Would recommend for a sole coffee drinker or someone who doesn't enjoy a large cup of coffee in the morning.
