Makita DUH523RT

All the above , light and manoeuvrable and cuts branches almost as thick as your little finger, don’t know how long a battery lasts yet as I’ve only used it twice

This is a great piece of Makita kit. It cuts far better than I though it would and the battery (5ah) lasts for ages. Have not used my petrol hedge trimmer since I bought it.

Excellent as are other tools I have had from Makita's 18v Lion range. Three way safety is a bit OTT but not a major inconvenience. Made short work of some very dense ivy and other overgrown shrubs. Should have bought it years ago!

I've got Makita batteries for other tools so I thought I'd try this. Im well happy with it! I used it over the summer and it cut with ease, my 6mp battery didn't go flat but added to the weight 3 amp battery was great not to heavy for standing on the ladder

Quiet enough not to annoy the neighbours and very good at what it does. Relatively lightweight but you have to use it two handed unless you MacGyver some string between the black pull handle and the main unit, which otherwise limits its potential one handed reach. Recommended, especially for Makita LXT people.
